Elon Musk's Tesla has started scouting the perfect site to build the electric vehicle India manufacturing facility and Maharashtra as the initial destination People who were who are aware of the developments informed ET.

Maharashtra government officials have said that while talks are taking place but nothing is finalized as of yet. Maharashtra Tesla has a long list of items that it needs to complete before signing the dotted line those who spoke to.
